Speed Week update – a bit of déjà vu

Everything is going well for us here at DLRA Speed Week at Lake Gairdner, South Australia – except the weather!

We passed the technical inspection with flying colours on Saturday, and did our first 125mph (203km/h) licensing pass yesterday. Then the rain hit! We just made it back to the pits on time, but racing is cancelled for today. It is quite hot, and we hope the track will dry up enough by tomorrow. Last year the event was completely cancelled due to flooding, and the year before that it was cut down to only two days because of heavy rain. It certainly feels like a bit of déjà vu, but we hope to have better luck this year.

Detailed updates with plenty of photos and some video can be found on www.facebook.com/EvaHakanssonRacing and www.instagram.com/eva_hakansson– make sure to follow us there. 🙂
